Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit – Texas
Start Date: September 1, 2026
Location: San Antonio, Texas

Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week
Highlights:
- 13-week assignment in a 14-bed ICU with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Critical care environment providing advanced vasopressor management and intensive interventions
- EMR documentation using Meditech system with standard critical care equipment
- Supportive unit staffing including dedicated PCAs and unit coordinators
- Work alongside an experienced, cohesive team in a Hospital Safety Grade "A" facility
- Minimal call requirements with no on-call obligations
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience managing vasopressors and critical care patients
- Meditech experience strongly preferred
- Strong attendance record and professional reliability required
- Willingness to float to other units as needed per facility policy
