Exciting Opportunity for an ICU RN!

• Location: San Antonio, TX
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - 650
• Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM
• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: No

Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled ICU RN to join our dynamic team. Your expertise will be vital in providing exceptional care in our fast-paced ICU environment. As a traveling nurse, you will experience new challenges and broaden your clinical skills.

Qualifications:

• Must Have:
  • 2+ years of Critical Care Experience
  • 2+ years of Hospital/Travel Experience
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
• Preferred Skills:
  • Rotoprone Experience
  • CRRT Exposure (Prismaflex)
  • Meditech Experience
• Licensure: Active RN TX License (Temp. License not accepted)

Unit Specifics:

• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: Float to other areas as needed based on patient census
• Typical Procedures:
  • Central Lines
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Bedside Trachs

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Navy (with white, navy, or black undershirts and jackets)
• Nail Policy: No acrylic nails, clean and no chipped polish
• Hair: Off shoulders, natural color only
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
