TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37412!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: ICU experience (2 years) Teamwork skills Support for new graduate RNs Description: The ICU unit has a total of 9 beds. The patient ratios are 2:1 and 3:1. All staffing consists of Registered Nurses. The unit is equipped with ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors. Documentation is done using Meditech. Staff members will self-schedule with manager oversight, including 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule. All staff may be required to float for critical staffing needs in Med-Surg or ED. Patient experience is prioritized through AIDET, BSSR, and achieving Press Ganey goals of 75%. The unit is certified as a Chest Pain Center and has Stroke Accreditation. Advanced skills required include ventilator management, IV drip titration, and arterial line management. Procedures performed on the unit include intubation, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions. The required uniform is navy blue scrubs. Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided.
