Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: Required certifications in specialty area Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: RN needed for an Intensive Care Unit setting. Cardiac experience is required. EKG and pharmacology tests are required during orientation. There will be a maximum of 2 attempts for each test. No remediation will be provided for a re-test. Travelers will be canceled if they fail the tests. Candidates are expected to maintain compliance with annual competency requirements. Modules must be completed prior to the start date. Modules will average 6-15 hours in length and vary by specialty. This is a smoke-free facility with a strict attendance policy. Please ensure all references submitted are from a direct supervisor or manager. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Interdisciplinary support will be available within the unit. Candidates must be willing to float as required. Patient care will involve a specific patient ratio to ensure quality treatment.
