Travel RN – Surgical ICU (SICU)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill surgical patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Tennessee or a compact state
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU/SICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity critical care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care setting
- Experience with surgical or post-operative ICU patient populations
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
