Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) will oversee the delivery of dialysis and patient care. In this role, the RN will be responsible for:

Providing education to patients regarding their treatment and care.
Supervising Dialysis Technicians throughout the treatment process.
Adjusting treatment plans as per standing orders and care plans.
Monitoring patient outcomes to ensure optimal care.
Administering medications and treatments as required.
Participating in quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient care.
Collaborating with other members of the patient care team, including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists.

This is a chronic, in-center position that covers multiple locations. The RN will float among various clinics within the region, specifically in Everett, Smokey Point, Mountlake Terrace, and Monroe.

Licensure & Certification

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state's Board of Nursing or Multi-State Compact Nurse license.
Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card from an accredited provider.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year nursing experience is required.
Previous dialysis experience is mandatory.
Preferred experience in acute or ambulatory nursing settings.

Shift Information

10-13 hour shifts available, including both AM and PM schedules.
Holidays may require additional coverage as needed.
