Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Dialysis

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Dialysis unit. This position requires dedication to patient care and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Minimum Experience

2 years of nursing experience is required.

Certifications/Requirements

• Current Wisconsin License
• AHA Provider Level BLS
• AHA Provider Level ACLS
• Education verification

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Documents care according to established standards.
• Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care that meets the individualized needs of the patient, based on physician prescriptions and hospital policy.
• Provides patient and family education as part of the care plan.
• Engages in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
• Offers clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
• Applies critical thinking to ensure patient safety and enhance patient experience, appropriately escalating concerns to the chain of command.

Availability for holiday coverage is required.
