• Guaranteed Hours:- 40
• Contract Duration:- 13 Weeks

Pay Package Breakdown:-

• W2 Rate:- $1,460 (Taxable)
• Weekly Stipend:- $1,848 ( non-taxable)
• Hourly Rate:- $82.7
• Weekly Gross:- $3,308

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts
• 4 days per week
• Every 3rd Saturday required
• RTO not requested at the time of submission WILL NOT BE APPROVED.

Patient Population:

• Adult patients with hematologic, oncologic, or medical diagnoses requiring outpatient infusion services.

Unit Details:

• 1 unit with 25 infusion chairs
• Approximately 60–110 patients per day
• Actual number of patients per day varies based on the length of each treatment.
• Each nurse will be assigned 2–3 infusion chairs to cover for that shift.
• Nursing ratios are an estimate made in good faith and may vary based on department/facility demands.
• Infusion room is attached to the Hem/Onc clinic.
• APP coverage is provided by the clinic.

Experience Required:

• 2 years of experience with chemotherapy administration required.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Experience accessing and deaccessing IVADs.
• Experience with PICC lines.
• Experience starting peripheral IVs.
• Experience with Alaris infusion pumps.
• Epic experience is required.

Required Certifications:

• ONS Chemotherapy Provider Card
• BLS – AHA

Orientation & Training:

• Orientation is 1 week.
• LHMC-required forms, learning, and competencies will be assigned prior to arrival.
• Unit-specific procedures and protocols are required for this unit.

Floating:

• May float to Peabody.
• Floating is done by date of last float.
• Floating is rare but is a possibility based on staffing needs.
