Assignment Highlights
- Work in a specialized outpatient infusion unit serving adult and geriatric patients.
- Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts per week.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric.
- Local and travel candidates are accepted.
- 75-mile radius rule applies. Local candidates will be considered at the local rate.
Your Role
- Administer prescribed infusions and medications in an outpatient setting.
- Provide care for patients with oncology, neurological, gastrointestinal, anemia, and other conditions.
- Administer blood products safely and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Operate infusion equipment, including Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and document care accurately.
- Use EPIC and other unit technology to support patient care.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Float as required by the facility.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Active RN license appropriate for the assignment.
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient infusion nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Chemotherapy certification.
- Experience administering blood products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient infusion environment.
