Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.
Job Summary: Outpatient Infusion RN
- Provide nursing care in an outpatient infusion unit to adult and geriatric patients
- Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and various infusions as ordered
- Care for patients with common diagnoses such as oncology, neurology, anemia, gastrointestinal conditions, etc.
- Utilize technology including EPIC (EMR), Omnicell, Ascom, and glucometers
- Operate infusion equipment such as Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps
- Maintain required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy certification
- Float as required to meet unit needs
- Work 5x8 hour day shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of one year experience in outpatient infusion required
- Comply with the 75-mile radius rule; local candidates are eligible at local pay rate
- Demonstrate ability to safely administer blood products and manage complex infusions
Med Ninjas Job ID #19879. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
