# Job Opportunity – Infusion Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Start Date: October 14, 2026
Location: West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 5x8 hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 40 guaranteed hours per week

Highlights:

  • Infusion center setting with oncology focus serving adult and geriatric populations
  • Patient ratio of 1:4 in a 15-bed unit with daily census of approximately 70 patients
  • No on-call requirements, no floating required, standard day shift schedule
  • Cerner documentation system with interdisciplinary support from phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy
  • Orientation held every other Thursday; travel nurses accepted with prior approval
  • Royal blue scrubs provided

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Current West Virginia or Compact State RN license (pending license accepted for submission)
  • BLS certification required (American Heart Association); ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification required
  • ONC certification preferred
  • Infusion center experience strongly preferred; inpatient and outpatient oncology experience highly valued
  • Skills in chemotherapy administration, port access and management, central line care, IV therapy, and blood product administration
  • Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility location
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only with physician documentation)
  • Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
