Highlights:- Function as a key member of the quality and infection prevention team with direct reporting to the Infection Prevention Manager or Quality leadership
- Conduct comprehensive hospital surveillance to identify and track healthcare-related infections
- Collaborate on system-wide policy and procedure development for infection prevention standards
- Perform routine facility audits and physical rounds across all departments to monitor infection prevention practices
- Participate in public reporting for mandated healthcare-associated infections
- Oversee infection prevention protocols for construction, renovation, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization processes
Requirements:- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in infection prevention, quality, or acute care nursing preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare-associated infection surveillance and reporting requirements
- Strong clinical assessment and auditing skills
- Ability to develop and deliver educational programs for patients and healthcare team members
