Experience in High-Level Disinfection (HLD) practices, assessments, and infection prevention oversight is essential. Knowledge of NHSN surveillance and data entry is required. Experience with HAI surveillance, including CLABSI, CAUTI, C. difficile/LabID, MRSA bacteremia, and SSI is necessary. Candidates must apply NHSN definitions to complex clinical cases. Skills in identifying infection prevention risks and opportunities for improvement are needed.
