Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to cardiac patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
- Assist healthcare providers and staff in coordinating comprehensive patient care plans.
- Serve as the primary liaison between patients, their families, staff, and providers to ensure effective communication and understanding.
- Monitor patient conditions, accurately interpret EKG readings, and manage cardiac arrhythmias.
- Administer cardiac medications and perform related procedures as prescribed.
- Document patient information, assessments, and interventions accurately and efficiently.
- Receive direction from Providers, Coordinators, and Clinical Managers/Supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of cardiac nursing experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient understanding of EKG interpretation, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac medications, and cardiac procedures.
- Completion of a basic coronary class.
- Strong medical terminology knowledge.
- Solid grasp of basic nursing principles and procedures.
- Proficient keyboarding skills.
- Basic office skills.
- Ability to provide personalized, compassionate patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
