- Weekly Estimated Pay: $710-$750
- Holiday Requirement: One major winter holiday, one major summer holiday, one fall/winter hallmark holiday, and one spring hallmark holiday
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of critical care and acute care nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey required
- Experience with CRRT required
- Experience with EVD required
- Experience with Swan-Ganz monitoring required
- Ability to float to like units as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills in a high-acuity ICU setting
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition with urgency and accuracy
- Manage specialized critical care equipment and therapies, including CRRT, EVD, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with facility standards
- Float to comparable units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care during weekend night coverage
