Job Summary

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of critical care acute care experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital required
• Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required
• Strong experience with CRRT, EVD, and Swan-Ganz monitoring required
• Ability to float to like units as needed
• Experience providing care in high-acuity ICU environments
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet holiday scheduling requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Manage complex equipment and therapies, including CRRT and hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Float to comparable units based on staffing and patient care needs
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality, and compassionate care throughout each shift
