ICU RN – Ottumwa, IA

Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night-shift travel assignment. This is a lower-volume ICU combined with the medical unit, so candidates must be comfortable floating and caring for Stepdown, Telemetry, and Med-Surg patients when ICU census is low.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours/week
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Call: None
• RTO: Maximum 5 days
• Openings: 1
• Auto-offer opportunity

Unit Details

• 10 ICU beds
• ICU ratio: 1:3
• Patient population: Adults
• Trauma level: IV
• EMR: Meditech
• Equipment: Mindray and Omnicell
• Common diagnoses: DKA, acute renal failure, CHF, and CAD
• Scrubs: Any color

Requirements

• Active Iowa or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• BLS and ACLS required
• General ICU and cardiac drip experience preferred
• One year may be considered with prior travel experience
• Must float to Stepdown, Telemetry, and Med-Surg
• Flexible, team-oriented candidates strongly preferred
