Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in the scenic region known for its outdoor activities and welcoming community. This role involves delivering specialized, coordinated nursing care to patients in the ICU, following established standards and the nursing process. The position includes supervising nursing staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring quality patient outcomes during night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ICU experience preferred; RN licensure in the state of practice required; CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS certification required; PALS certification required; NRP certification required; EPIC experience required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Emergency Life Support (PALS) certification preferred; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
  • Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for data collection, assessment, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient progress, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide safe, healing, and patient-centered care. Discharge planning and delegation are integral parts of this role. Limited call may be required due to low census or floating to the emergency room to prevent call obligations.
