Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse located in the healthcare provider's organization is responsible for delivering specialized patient care to critically ill individuals. This role involves monitoring, assessing, and implementing nursing interventions for patients requiring intensive care in a hospital setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: Registered Nurse working in the ICU with responsibilities including patient assessment, administration of medications, and execution of nursing procedures tailored to critically ill patients.
- Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; valid Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field; two (2) years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred; NIH Stroke Scale Certificate; CCRN preferred; dialysis, SLED or equivalent experience preferred.
- Additional Information: The position requires certification in ACLS, and the need for a winter plan is indicated. Candidate must be licensed and certified as specified.
