Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU, Intermediate, and Medical-Surgical units.
  • Adapt to different unit needs and patient ratios, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Department (ED) and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
  • Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted.
