ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Monitor and assess patient health and vital signs.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate changes in condition promptly.
• Adhere to safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Schedule Requirements

• Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00).
• Weekends required: Minimum of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.
• Block schedules approved based on staffing and unit needs.

Patient Ratios

The expected patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:2 or 1:3, depending on unit conditions and staffing levels.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Preferable experience in Neuro ICU.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to respond to critical situations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Dress Code

Licensed nursing personnel are required to wear solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. Scrub tops may have colored piping, but print tops are not acceptable except in designated pediatric units.
