ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to our patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. This position will offer opportunities for professional growth and the chance to make a difference in our patients' lives.

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
Monitor patient condition and assess vital signs regularly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Float between units as needed to meet patient care demands.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience in critical care nursing, specifically in areas such as cardiovascular surgery, trauma, and neurosurgery.
Familiarity with ventilators, chest tubes, central venous lines (CVL), external ventricular drains (EVD), and lab interpretation.

Work Schedule

Full-time position with a 3x12-hour day shift schedule (07:00 - 19:00).
Weekend shifts are required (6 weekends necessary for unit needs).
No block scheduling required.

Facility Information

Type of facility: Short Term Acute Care.
Total staffed beds: 379.
Level II Trauma Center.

Dress Code

Licensed nursing personnel are required to wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable, except for designated areas in pediatrics and women’s services.
