Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Located in the healthcare organizations facilities, this position involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients across multiple ICU campuses. The role encompasses floating responsibilities across three ICU campuses with rotating day and night shifts, contributing to comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: California RN License, BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS, and four years of ICU experience required.
- Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with availability for day/night rotation shifts.
- Responsibility and Clinical Skills: Managing ventilated patients, arterial line management, chest tube insertion/removal assistance, blood product administration, neuro ICU care, IABP management, stroke and CVA care, and use of specialized ICU equipment such as FloTrac/Vigileo and Impella.
- Float Requirement: Float to three ICU campuses and step downs including TICU and PCU units; flexibility to float to EDs or MST floors if ICU is not needed.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must provide valid Nursys licensure, applicable certifications, and two references within the last year.
- Additional Information: Must complete required onboarding modules during orientation, with all compliance documents submitted 10 days prior to start date.
