Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care, with specific experience in cardiovascular surgery and the use of advanced medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in both the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU).
• Administer and manage care for patients using devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP) and Impella.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on clinical findings.
• Participate in orientation and training sessions as required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar critical care setting.
• Experience in cardiovascular surgery is required.
• Proficiency with IABP and Impella devices is mandatory.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• Must have been separated from previous employment affiliations for at least 6 months.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a rotation every other weekend. Candidates should be prepared to work over winter holidays, including two required holidays.

Orientation

Orientation sessions occur weekly, and any color scrubs are acceptable during this period.
