Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse (RN) position based in a healthcare facility. This role requires providing care in a fast-paced observation unit with variable patient acuity levels, including lower to higher acuity patients and mid-holds. The position involves working night shifts and may include floating to other areas of competency as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an acute care setting within the specialty, current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification.
  • Additional Information: Staff will work in a 28-bed inpatient observation unit near the emergency department, caring for medical beds, trauma overflow beds, and patients with varying acuities. Must be flexible to float within competency areas as needed. Holidays are an expectation for this role. Candidates should upload all demographic information, including a badge-appropriate photo.
