ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts and requires availability to float as needed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The schedule will include every other weekend.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols.
  • Float between ICU and PCU as needed, demonstrating versatility in patient care.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of ICU experience required. Preference given to those with experience in Trauma Level I facilities; candidates with Trauma Level II experience will be considered.
  • Previous Travel Experience: Preferred.
  • EPIC Experience: Required.
  • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • License: Must hold a current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Tele Test: A tele test will be administered on the first day of employment, with a pass/fail outcome.
  • Must have been separated from previous employment with BILH for six months or more to be considered for this position.
