ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for an upcoming contract opportunity. The right candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit setting. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with a passion for critical care and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Contract Details

Start Date: November 9, 2026
Contract Length: 20 weeks
Shift: 4x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:00); Option for 3x12
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Floating: Required within specialty/acuity

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate care plans.
Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology to support patient treatment.

ICU
Stroke
Renal Failure CRRT
Myocardial Infarction with IABP
Respiratory failure
Pneumonia
Rotoprone positioning
Post-cardiac arrest care
Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
Surgical ICU cases

Essential Equipment

Ceiling lifts
Emergency carts: Central line, Universal critical airway, Chest tube, Temp pacer, Bronch, Chemo, CRRT, Malignant Hyperthermia

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
Proficient in electronic charting, specifically EPIC.
