Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.

Medical ICU Float Position

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate for a Medical ICU Float position. This role requires a professional with significant experience in a critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  • Float between various ICU locations as necessary.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering treatment and medication as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient information and care routines accurately and timely.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of related work experience, specifically in a level 1 trauma setting.
  • Current Massachusetts nursing license.
  • Certifications required: CPR (AHA) and ACLS (AHA).

Additional Information

This position requires rotating shifts of 12 hours, including day and night rotations. Orientation occurs weekly, every Monday, excluding holidays.

Please note that requests for time off (RTO) are limited, and no holiday requests will be approved. All RTO requests must be presented at the time of submission.

Parking expenses may apply, with costs potentially reaching up to $43 per day. Further details will be provided upon inquiry.
