Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a short-term acute care facility. The position involves floating between units, providing critical care to adult patients, and supporting the interdisciplinary team in a dynamic trauma and neuro-intensive environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: ICU RN with at least 1 year of experience required, specializing in trauma, cardiovascular, neuro, and critical care procedures such as ventilators, chest tubes, CVL, EVDs, and lab interpretation. The assignment is at a short-term acute care facility with 379 beds, serving as a Level II Trauma Center.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week from 11/16/2026 to 02/15/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of experience, and certification in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Additional Information: The role requires experience in CV surgery, trauma, ventilator management, chest tubes, CVL, EVDs, and neuro-surgical procedures. Candidates should be comfortable floating between units, including ICU, telemetry, or medical-surgical units, as needed.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding prior work at a Providence facility, provide 2 references covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, and demonstrate compliance with all policy requirements.
