ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift. This role requires a high level of expertise and experience in intensive care, as well as the ability to adapt to various medical/surgical units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress, responding promptly to any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in floating to medical/surgical units as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Proficiency in using Epic electronic health records is necessary.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the region, including Addison Gilbert.
• Must pass a day one pass/fail test upon orientation with one attempt only.
• Successful completion of Relias testing during onboarding is required, with two attempts allowed for passing.
• Individuals who have worked permanent positions in the last 6 months will not be considered.

Shift Details

This position is for the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.
