ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a wide variety of critically ill patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care.
Administer medications and monitor patients for any changes in condition.
Utilize Epic and other electronic medical record systems for documentation and care management.
Complete a Day 1 pass/fail competency test focusing on medication knowledge and dysrhythmias.

Qualifications

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) are required.
Prior experience in an ICU or Telemetry setting is essential.
Must have a minimum of 6 months separation from previous employment with the organization.
Proficient in managing medications and identifying dysrhythmias.

Unit Information

The Surgical Intensive Care Unit is a 24-bed high-acuity unit with a focus on advanced therapies for patients requiring intensive monitoring and care. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional care tailored to the needs of each patient.
