ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurses to join our team in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. Our ICU features 28 beds across two units, serving a diverse patient population with complex medical needs, including multi-system failure and various co-morbid conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced technology and maintain proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic).
  • Adhere to established protocols and float policies.

Work Schedule:

  • Night shifts: 3 shifts of 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
  • 36 or 48-hour work week options available.
  • Commitment to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
  • Must be available to work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays.
  • Approval for 40 hours of time off is available.
  • Consecutive weekends off are not permitted.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
  • Level 1 experience is required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
  • Epic experience is essential for this position.
  • Applications are welcome from candidates with a pending VA license.
