ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team within a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) unit. The position is primarily focused on providing high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the LTAC ICU setting.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required.
• Previous experience within a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting preferred.
• Specialized experience in neuro care is required.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are mandatory.

Schedule and Availability

• This position offers flexible hours, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Weekend coverage is supported by a rotational call schedule among 6 to 8 staff members.
• A commitment of 13 to 26 weeks is expected for this role.
