Registered Nurse – Surgical ICU
Required qualifications
- Active RN license.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of current, strong Surgical ICU experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Critical Care Certification.
- Trauma course.
- EPIC experience.
- ACLS certification.
- Two previous travel assignments.
Patient population and clinical experience
The Weinberg Surgical ICU cares for adult ICU patients and postoperative surgical patients, including:
- Trauma and critically ill surgical patients.
- Gastrointestinal (GI) surgery.
- Orthopedic and neurosurgical spine procedures.
- Transplant and vascular surgery.
- Surgical ENT.
- General surgery.
Candidates should have strong surgical critical care experience and be comfortable caring for complex postoperative patients.
Scheduling and assignment details
- Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
- Floating: Required as needed to units with a similar skill set.
- Orientation: Second and fourth Monday of each month.
