Travel ICU RN Job Details

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU or cardiac critical care experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as scheduled
- Experience caring for medical ICU, surgical ICU, and open-heart surgery patients preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
Critical Care RN Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to cardiac ICU and critical care patients
- Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to changes in clinical status
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support advanced cardiac care needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Care for patients recovering from open-heart procedures, as well as medical and surgical ICU cases
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards at all times
- Float as needed to support similar critical care patient populations
