• Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
• Shift Pattern: Day/night rotation (7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480
• Additional Notes: Every other weekend and every other holiday; may need to float to Med/Surg as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• 2 years of ICU nursing experience in a multispecialty ICU setting (CCU, SICU, MICU, Neuro, or CT)
• Telemetry experience required, including the ability to independently read and interpret rhythm strips
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification
• Diploma, ASN, or BSN preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort with electronic documentation
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care nursing in the ICU
• Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and educate patients and families
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage clinical documentation
• Enter and interpret computerized data and information
• Follow established nursing guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Support quality improvement efforts and assist leadership as needed
• Provide flexible coverage across the unit, including possible floating to Med/Surg when necessary
