Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 4x12s
Requirements:
- 2 years of ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the unit
- LTACH/LTAC experience preferred
- Neuro experience required
- BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
- 1+ year of Epic experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred
- No travel experience required
- Must be willing to float between ICU and Med-Surg
- Every other weekend coverage
- Adult and geriatric patient population
Description:
- 12-bed LTACH ICU within a 35-bed Med-Surg unit
- Staff may work in both ICU and Med-Surg
- Patient population includes ventilator weaning, wound care, spinal cord injuries, tracheostomy and PEG patients
- Provide care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients in an LTACH setting
- Manage complex ICU conditions including respiratory, neurological, cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic disorders
- Perform cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, central/arterial line care, ventilator management, and medication titration
- Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, and other support teams
