Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is based in Nampa, Idaho. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-surgical care. The nurse will work in a high-acuity environment requiring strong clinical skills and teamwork.

Job Details:

  • Location: Nampa, ID 83687
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week, from 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM, with weekends as needed and possible floating to other units including Tele, Meridian, and Boise ICUs.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications; minimum 1 year of ICU experience; ability to titrate drips such as Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, Diltiazem; preferred team player.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilators (Vents, High Flow, Bipap), reading strips on Spacelabs monitors, and working in a fast-paced ICU environment.
  • Additional Information: Unit is staffed with a charge nurse who does not take patients, 24/7 onsite hospitalist and telehealth intensivist, RT coverage, and CNA support. Orientation consists of 1 to 2 shifts depending on experience. The unit operates with a patient ratio of approximately 1:2, managing complex patients with various titratable drips and advanced monitoring.
