Job Summary:

Intensive Care Unit Nurse (ICU) San Luis Obispo, CA. This position involves providing critical care in an acute care setting, with shift hours from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on every other weekend. The role requires coordinating patient care, monitoring vital signs, and implementing treatment plans in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to float as needed and meet the specified certification and experience requirements.

Job Details:

• Location: San Luis Obispo, California
• Shift Time: Nights (6:00 PM 6:00 AM)
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensure to submit; BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification; Minimum 2 years of experience in Intensive Care Unit setting
• Additional Requirements: Candidates must be available to start on 08/31/2026
• Shifts: Every other weekend; float rotation may be required
• Certifications: BLS Certification
• Additional Information: The organizations clinical team will pre-screen all candidates. Managers will conduct second interviews. Overtime is paid after 8 hours per day and after 40 hours per week, with a flat rate for all overtime hours. Cancellation policies allow the hospital to cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment or three shifts for shorter assignments.
