Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) located in the healthcare providers facility between Burbank and Pasadena. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for a designated group of patients following established standards of practice and the nursing process. The position includes supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessment data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating progress, collaborating with healthcare teams, providing education, participating in discharge planning, and delegating duties appropriately. All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with exceptions for medical or religious reasons.
