Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU RN) – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:30 | 36 Hours per Week
    • Schedule Structure: 12-hour night shifts.
    • Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Standard department schedule guidelines apply.
    • On-Call / Standby: No On-Call required.
    • Floating Protocol & Unit Details: Intensive Care Unit (20-bed mixed ICU). Patient Population: High-acuity medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac critical care patients. Equipment & Systems: Spectrum IV Pumps, NxStage CRRT machines, Spacelabs bedside monitoring. EMR: Epic EMR.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]:
    • Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) critical care nursing experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
    • Continuous Drip & Device Competency: Verified proficiency in titrating critical care vasoactive/sedative continuous drips, managing invasive hemodynamic monitoring via Spacelabs equipment, and operating Spectrum IV pumps strictly required [HARDSTOP].
    • CRRT Experience: Hands-on experience with NxStage CRRT equipment strongly preferred [HARDSTOP].
    • EMR Proficiency: Hands-on Epic EMR experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
    • Active New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) License strictly required IN-HAND at time of submission [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
    • Active CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification preferred.
