We are seeking an experienced, clinically strong Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 32-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) that also provides Neuro Critical Care services. This ICU float position requires flexibility to float between the Medical ICU, Surgical ICU (SICU), Medical HVCC, and Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), based on facility needs.

Our unit operates across two floors and typically maintains strong staffing support. We are looking for confident critical care nurses with solid ICU backgrounds who can adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional care to high-acuity patients.

Unit Details

• Unit Size: 32 beds
• Specialties: Medical Intensive Care and Neuro Critical Care
• Patient Ratios: 1:2, or 1:1 depending on patient acuity
• Float Requirements: Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC
• Schedule: Night shift, 19:00–07:30

Patient Population & Clinical Experience

The MICU cares for critically ill patients with complex medical and neurological conditions, including:

• Sepsis and septic shock
• End-stage renal disease (ESRD) and acute kidney injury (AKI)
• Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT/CVVH)
• Post-cardiac arrest management
• Acute respiratory failure
• Neurocritical care patients

Required Certifications

• BLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIHSS
