TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Concord, North Carolina.
UNIT: 3H Medical Telemetry
CLINICAL INTERVIEW
**This unit is transitioning to a Progressive Unit. Traveler will need to be comfortable with that population & able to titrate drips.**
Experience Required: 1.5 years MS/TELE. PIV starts, NG Tube placement/management, Pleurx drains, management of various surgical drains, chest tube management, etc.
Certs Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHHS.
Ratios:
1:4-6, acuity dependent – surge times could increase to 1:7-8 (MedSurg/Tele)
1:4 (PCU)
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Transitioning this Summer from Med/Tele to PCU focus Heart Failure, Chest pain, patient requiring fluid resuscitation/blood products, COPD, Cardiac Cath pre/post. Medical overflow.
Floating: Within region and scope of practice
Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable
Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises
If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
