Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is available in Southern California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards and supervising nursing staff. The position requires critical thinking, supervisory discretion, and independent judgment to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ICU experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; facility-specific BLS certification
- Additional Information: Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessment data, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates patient progress. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide a safe, healing environment. Participates in discharge planning, delegates duties appropriately, and performs other related duties as assigned.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar ICU setting.
