Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Schenectady, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 12 hours, days, nights

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in clinical status.
  • Care for patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring and mechanical ventilation.
  • Assist in caring for patients recovering from cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety.

Requirements:

  • Active New York State RN license.
  • Two years of ICU experience preferred; candidates with at least one year of specialty experience may be considered for screening.
  • BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required before the start date.
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred.
