ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional nursing care within the Intensive Care Unit. This position may require floating to the Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical Unit, or Pediatrics depending on patient needs and census levels.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to critically ill patients in a 5-bed ICU setting.
• Perform a variety of responsible nursing care procedures with a focus on patient-specific conditions and treatments.
• Work independently and efficiently to complete assignments while adhering to guidelines including doctors' orders and nursing policies.
• Offer support and care to patients of all ages and their families.
• Assist in the post-operative recovery of patients, including those from general surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics as necessary.

Necessary Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of prior ICU nursing experience required.
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure: Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN) to practice in any state of the United States.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
  • Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) - NIHSS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
