Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong comfort managing mixed critical care patients, including medical, cardiac, surgical, and neuro cases
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative critical care team
• Flexibility to float to med-surg telemetry as priority and to ED admission holds only when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to critically ill adult patients in a mixed ICU/CCU environment
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition with sound clinical judgment and urgency
• Support patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, ARDS, CKD, MOF, overdoses, OUD/SUD, and BMT-related complications
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and carry out patient-centered care plans
• Float as needed to med-surg telemetry and ED admission holds
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in safety, quality, and infection prevention
• Use advanced equipment and procedures when available; familiarity with TNK, withdrawal management, BMT care, Belmont Rapid Transfuser, NX Stage CRRT, Arjo, or Stryker Altrix is a plus
