Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse located in a healthcare facility environment. This position involves providing advanced patient care for critically ill patients in a specialized ICU setting with a focus on cardiac, surgical, and neurological cases, including the management of complex medical equipment and life support systems.

Job Details

• Position Description: ICU - Intensive Care Unit, with 11 private beds, requires candidates to have at least 2 years of relevant experience, including experience with chest tubes, arterial lines, and swan-Ganz catheter management. Candidates with travel experience are preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Education and Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Location Requirements: No specific geographic restrictions.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Managing complex patient cases such as open heart surgery, general surgery, STEMI, stroke, and post-operative care. Must be capable of handling critical medical equipment including vents, chest tubes, art lines, CRRT, Impellas, and balloon pumps.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical units.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be licensed and have proper documentation for submission.
