Job Summary (List Format):

- Provides professional nursing care to ICU patients using the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team.
- Supervises nursing assistants and reports to the Nurse Manager.
- Delivers patient care according to Carle Richland Memorial Hospital (CRMH) standards, practices, and philosophies.
- Performs all required responsibilities and duties specific to the ICU scope of service.
- Implements procedures and nursing theories related to critical care.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of all nursing care for integration by the healthcare team.
- Completes initial patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs.
- Implements and modifies care plans, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures as needed.
- Continuously evaluates and adjusts plans of care to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Ensures patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing safety hazards and incidents.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and team members to resolve issues and support care delivery.
- Provides constructive feedback and collaborates with colleagues for professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Identifies personal learning needs and proactively seeks solutions to address them.
- Meets all departmental competency requirements.
