First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Long Beach, California.

ICU RN – Long Beach, CA

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 12 Hours
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Schedule: Every Other Weekend
EMR: Cerner

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of ICU experience
  • BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
  • Active CA RN license
  • Strong critical care experience with vents, drips, pressors, sedation and cardiac/neuro patients
  • Must be comfortable reading and interpreting own cardiac rhythms
  • Must be willing to float to Tele and ED ICU/Tele holds
  • Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays

Unit Details:

  • 32-bed ICU
  • Typical ratio: 2:1
  • 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
  • Higher-acuity patients including neuro, cardiac, PCI, sepsis, stroke, TBI and ICP monitoring
  • Every other weekend
  • RN scrub color: Navy Blue
  • No acrylic nails or gel polish during the assignment
